Ologi Spring
Ologi Spring is found at the foot of Rori Hill in Kakumu village,Rongo-Pala Sublocation, Wangchieng Location, Kabondo Divison, South Rachuonyo District , Homa-Bay County, Kenya. ‘Ologi’ is a luo name meaning to wash hand this name came as a result of young boys who were washing there hands while tending to the cattle at the Rori hills.
This spring dates to many years that no one can understand when it actually began. The eldest members of the community can recall that at one time in the early 1960s it was protected and built by the Catholic Church Missionary who saw the need of providing clean and safe water to the community.
